Kia Ray Concept - Pictures

By admin On February 16th, 2010

The Kia Ray concept is a sneak peak into a future envisaged by the Korean car company. A plug-in hybrid vehicle that draws power from a 115kW 1.4-litre gasoline direct injection (GDI) engine combined with a 78kW electric motor, the Kia Ray concept is designed to be ultra green, from its design to its propulsion systems and construction method.

The 4-door, 4-seat Ray concept is a compact sedan based on the Forte platform. It’s the fifth vehicle to come from Kia Design Center America in Irvine, California, over the last year (previous: Soul, Forte, Forte Koup and Sorento). The Ray concept uses lightweight materials throughout (many which are recycled) to aid in the car’s efficiency, along with solar cells embedded into the roof-top glass panel that power the climate control system. The roof also features glazing materials said to “dramatically” reduce heat in an effort to keep the interior cool. Here are some cool pictures of Kia Ray.

By admin On November 9th, 2008

BMW cars are one hot selection among car lovers. You could probably go mad, if you see the BMW cars, same like I did. It’s my dream car in a way. But unfortunately, I don’t have the savings needed to buy one in today’s date. Still I went ahead and searched for one. You might not have an idea, but you need not to go for a brand new one if you would want one ever. If you can adjust on a second hand BMW car with proper research, you should be almost buying a new car with less price.

You may have to refrain yourself looking at latest BMW car models, but you can still look at used BMW 5 Series cars. Did you check that and like it? I liked this BMW 5-Series 530d M Sport Saloon one. Looks great, and much cheaper than original price. I am seeing those BMW 5 and 6-series models at motors.co.uk.

Well guys, I am astonished with the BMW car collection they have by the way. You name the BMW car model, and they have it. The list of car models on the left side, gives an idea of how many models they have available. Good for us!

What are your favorite car models by the way? and which BMW model you like and why? I would like to hear that.

Audi S4 Pictures and Review

By admin On November 8th, 2008

The Audi S4 seem like compete with bigger engined models of the rivals like Merc Benz and BMW (their cars like the C 350 Sport and 335i M Sport). Audi S4 is also a six-cylinder like the rival cars. the 3.0 litre V6 gives Audi S4 pace and power to perform better than its predecessor.

Some beautiful features of Audi S4

  • Audi’s Drive Select system incorporates a sports active differential. It’s key to the way the S4 drives, apportioning power to the outside rear wheel in a corner and making the four-wheel drive S4 feel like it’s rear driven.
  • On a wet track with the stability and traction control systems switched off the S4 can be driven like its rear-wheel drive rivals.
  • The S4 reveals a beautifully balanced chassis that’s supremely benign on breakaway and very controllable to slide.
  • On the road with all the electronic systems turned on it grips hard, turns quickly and rides with real composure.
  • The engine might be lacking a few cylinders over its predecessor but it’s certainly not slow, the linear power delivery and free-revving nature allied to the sonorous engine note making it very enjoyable indeed.
  • Audi offers the S4 with either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed twin-clutch automatic. The auto is actually more economical than the manual, though clever as the auto is the manual is a sweet shifter and allows you to engage more with the S4’s abilities.

Price tag: Around £38-40,000 for the S4 with the trick differential and a few other choice options.

Break down of a car in middle of your drive is the biggest pain I believe. To overcome this, either you need to be a good mechanic yourself or you need to know where to find the good mechanic. It’s not about only finding out good mechanic but he should be from your area.

Since I moved to a new country rececntly, and does not know anything out there; it’s very important for me to keep such emergency services handy. I would have my mobile service set up to let me access internet all where and would take help of websites like mechanicfinder.com.au to find a mechanic.

The benefit of using them that they quickly would search their database and bring me the best mechanics around in my area. Some of the mechanics provide special services for car break downs or panel beaters etc, and I can see the sorted out results accordingly.

You are here to read something on auto reviews, and it would be best possible handy information incase you ever need help of your local mechanics. Keep this page bookmarked, so you never get into trouble.

BMW Z4M Coupe 2008 Review and Pictures

By admin On October 7th, 2008

The 2008 BMW Z4 M is a 2-door, 2-passenger sports car, or you can say a convertible sports car, is available in two trims, the Coupe and the Roadster.

Both trims, Coupe and Roadster are equipped with a standard 3.2-liter, I6, 330-horsepower engine that achieves 15-mpg in the city and 22-mpg on the highway. That’s pretty impressive for me.

The 2008 Z4 M is actually a carryover from 2007 with  6-speed manual transmission with overdrive being standard.

The estimated market price is around USD 48000. This is one unique sports car which never fails to amaze me. Have a look at the pictures.

Car Repair Shops in Your Area

By admin On October 6th, 2008

While driving your favorite cars, your mind is all set to enjoy the brand new car you have bought or sometimes a used one but of your choice. Keep in mind that as long as it runs well, you enjoy it; but when it comes down to maintenance or repair - you get tired of it. So maintenance of the car is there by default if you want to achieve both, enjoy driving your car and maintain the same across the life of the car.

There are few important things to keep in mind while you maintain your cars.

Sometimes the car repair expenses go way beyond your car repair estimates because you did not consider many things that contribute to car repair. Where as you should have consulted renowned agencies for your car repair estimates and be prepared for the required expenses.

Keep car repairs shop list handy: It’s best to have the list of car repair shops in area handy. But even if it’s not feasible for you, you can find a car repair shop in your area just by click of the button. For example, if you live in SF, California; just go to repairpal.com and give your city and state or zip code to find San Francisco car repair shops and you get a list of car repair shops with Google map attached to it. Even you can give keywords like Toyota Camry repair and you would find relevant shop list. One of the best features, I am enjoying.

So auto repair shall be given as equal importance as to buying a new car. Because you have to maintain it as you bought it with enthusiasm.
